This is our 61th
wedding anniversary and we’re not working today!
I met Betty Russell on
December 21, 1946 at 7:00 pm. It was at a cousin’s birthday
party. Two and half years later, July 2, 1949, we were married
and we’re still just as happy and excited about being together
as day one. As is our custom, I’ll take Betty to the
finest restaurant for lunch to celebrate this blessed event
--- the Cracker Barrel, where we can eat and listen to good
country music!
